Waterside’s friendly screenings aim to make cinema more accessible to local communities by providing a fun and inclusive experience to enable people living with additional access needs, their families and carers to attend the cinema in a safe and welcoming environment. The screenings include low lights, no adverts or trailers and the audience move can around or sing along to any musical numbers! The cinema is open 30 minutes before the screening so that people can familiarise themselves with the space. There is a short break halfway through the film for free tea/ coffee.
